In this story Adam Mayblum is describing what he is seeing as he and his colleagues try to make their way out of the building where they think a bomb has went offf.I would say that this would be man verses nature because of what has happen, and man verse man because they are struggling to get out of the building desribing what they see on each floor. The target audience would be men and women alike who love to drink coffee. Picture a man or woman pouring a steaming hot cup of coffee with steam flowing off the top of the cupas the coffee drinker gets ready to take a drink from the cup.As he or she brings the cup to their mouth you can smell the rich flavor of the mocha latte.The purpose of this ad is to sell or to get more people to buy and drink coffe.

Discuss one advertisement you've seen or heard that you believe is poor advertisement--describe the ad so that a person reading your discription could visualize the ad without seeing it. Then discuss why you believe the ad is bad. 2 para I would like to talk about the advertisement for Orbit chewing gum. The advertisement is film in a sterile white room. There is a man sitting in a barber chair draped in a barbers cape,there is a robot arm in the room and a lady standing at a computer board. The robot has a razor in its hand as the woman focuses on the computer board the arm moves toward the man who is sitting in the barbers chair wearing shaving cream on his face. The arm takes the razor and shaves down one side of the mans face as he frowns as though he is afraid.The arm moves back and says shall we try again? At the end of the commercial a group of people appear chanting a song that is suppose to let us know what the ad is about.Can you guess what it is about INTEL. What does any of this have to do with INTEL products? I do not know.I say if you are going to sell consumers on computer prducts you should hire someone that can get the product some meaning. Discuss why you believe the advertisement is good. 2 para In this ad there is a woman standing on a panini grill with a pair of headphones on, she has a jack hammer in her hand and is trying to get cheese off of the grill.The grill has a sandwich with ham and cheese on it that has been grilled. At the bottom of the ad you see these words PAM HELPS YOU PULL IT OFF and a can of pam next to the words.
I feel like this is a good ad be cause you can actually see what the ad is saying. The ad is telling us that if we are going to use the grill that we should spray it with pam first and that way when you press your sandwich together the cheese will easily come off. Journal Prompt 7. What examples does the writer give? 1 pa In the story about tweens the writer gives us ways that tweens demonstrate socail behavior, some of their behavior is the way they dress.The tweens like to wear revealing clothes, they start to wear lots of make-up as early as eleven years of age.The writer also tells us that tweens start to date at an early age.Tweens also like to hang out in their own little groups. The leader wants the rest of the group to come together to stop the other group and the way to stop them involves violence which means that someone has top get hurt.

Discuss one poem and one short story similarity concerning characters, plots, settings, conflicts, or themes. 2 paragraphs In the story "How Far She Went the grandmother has a granddaugther that is very rebellious because she does not want to be with her grandmother.The granddaugther runs away all the time and wears very revealing clothes and does not want to hear anything that the grandmother has to say. The granddaughter finds her self in a situation where only her grandmother can save her. This is when she learns that her grandmorther really loves her.
In the story "A Good Man Is Hard to Find" the grandmother sees herself in a similar situation with her two grandchildren. Altough their parents are with them they seem to have no respect for their grandmother. They are very rude and diorderly to their grandmother. In both stories the ggrandmothers find themselves in similar situations where they have to try and save their families. Journal Prompt 10. In Walker's Beauty, discuss the issues that caused Walker to lose her self-esteem. 2 paragraphs
